Email address:

Its funny how entering your e-mail address into one little, tiny pop-up ad can affect the entire existence of one's online connection to the world. That's right, I'll admit it. Over two years ago, I made the mistake of giving some bogus company my e-mail address on a stupid pop-up ad for a free iPod or something.

C'mon, you know you've thought about it, if not done it yourself.

Fortunately, Gmail is amazing and has always filtered out 99.9% of the spam that zaps into my inbox on an hourly basis. In a real adventure-seeking quest today, I did decide to peruse through my spam folder - which got me thinking, why do so many people/robots/computer nerds/whomever send out these illogical, incoherent e-mails about every kind of sexual deviancy, malfunction, device, and/or pharmaceutical known to man? The answer is this: there are people out there actually buying or at least attempting to buy this crap (and subsequently having their identity stolen).

This completely and utterly blows my mind.
