Cue the "Hallelujah" Chorus

The following is a representation of yesterday afternoon as I recall it...

Approx. 2:35pm on 8/14: Well, we really won't know if there's a spot available until orientation check-in tomorrow morning...

Approx. 4:45pm "   ": Hi Alan, we spoke a few hours ago, but its my pleasure to let you know we have a spot for you at UGA. Congratulations!

Approx. 5:15pm "   ": The reality sets in, and I can hold it together enough to start calling family and friends to tell them the good news.

Approx. 10:15pm "   ": I arrive in Athens.

Approx. 8:10am on 8/15: Orientation check-in. Yep, I wasn't dreaming.

Soooo, I will probably be going on a 3 year hiatus in lieu of my sudden change in circumstances. Simply put, I couldn't be happier. I have absolute confidence that it was solely the grace of God that brought me where I am today - I have been confused, and at times, frustrated, but I am completely humbled by the grace and faithfulness of my Lord and Savior.

Maybe I'll check in after I finish mid-terms in December...
